Congratulations to Joie for whelping 8 beautiful puppies on Sunday, June 12, 2011! Joie started stressing on Saturday afternoon - pacing and panting. She calmed down a bit on Sat night but started up again on Sunday morning. Her temp had dropped so I knew this was it.
Pup #1: born at 11:30 am - cute little female, full ridge, 13 oz, "Rosie" (purple)
Pup #2: born at 12:08 - female, full ridge, 16.5 oz,"Rita" (hot pink)
Pup #3: born at 1:22 - female, full ridge, 16 oz, "Marjie" (yellow)
Pup #4: born at 1:53 - male, ridge with 3rd crown, 15 oz, "Dennis" (blue)
Pup #5: born at 2:05 - female, full ridge, 10.5 oz, "Addie" (green)
Pup #6: born at 2:51 - female, full ridge, 17.5 oz, "Joie" (white)
Pup #7: born at 3:08 - female, full ridge, 17 oz, "Marci" (red)
Pup #8: born at 5:02 - male, full ridge, 17.5 oz, "Rudy" (black)
Everyone is doing well and eating up a storm! Joie's a great momma and learning to leave them for a few minutes at a time. now's the time for rest.
